Pumpkins vs Neeps

My 3 second submission for Clanimation’s (a Scottish animation/artist network) Halloween collab. The animation features neeps threatening to take their place back as the Halloween vegetable from pumpkins. Neeps is the Scots word for turnip, in Scotland and Ireland we used to carve them instead of pumpkins. Pumpkins are more of a US thing but also are easier to carve!

The characters were sculpted in Nomad Sculpt, textured with Procreate and Photoshop and rendered in Maya using Arnold.
